Senior Account Executive

Star Telecom is the leading Genesys Cloud partner in Canada and the only partner to offer managed carrier services, SMS, 24×7 support and a team of more than 20+ Genesys Cloud Associates to support our clients.

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive with CCaaS experience to join our team. The Account Executive will be responsible for growing and managing the sales funnel by working closely with the Genesys AEs and other Industry Channels. The role provides direct support and works closely with the Genesys Account Executives to understand the customer’s business and technical objectives and how the Genesys Cloud solution provided by Star Telecom can exceed these goals. The Senior AccountExecutive will work closely with the internal and Genesys Sales and Pre-Sales Engineering resources. This position will carry an achievable Quota.

You are the right fit for this job if you have:

  • A proven track record of B2B selling (10+ years)
  • 5+ years in Contact Center cloud or CRM Cloud experience preferred
  • Strong prospecting, qualifying, closing and opportunity management skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, commitment and activity to attain corporate, departmental and personal goals
  • Successful candidates will have experience in managing complex sales cycles
  • Very comfortable in the “C” suite with a track record of closing five, six and seven figure solution subscription deals
  • Superior customer facing skills
  • Excellent writing skills to respond to customer RFI/RFP's.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, agile environment
  • 50% travel expected

Responsibilities

  • Understand and assess customer contact center environments
  • Demonstrate industry proficiency in cloud solutions and operation practices
  • Gather requirements, and develop a solution to present as a "proof of vision".
  • Work actively with multiple customers and account executives during different phases of the sales-cycle
  • Provide guidance and support for Product demonstrations carried out by SEs
  • Tailor presentations to match opportunity and audience
  • Develop materials in-line with the specific sales opportunity requirements
  • Succinctly and clearly communicate the value proposition and competitive advantages of Star Telecom’s offering
  • Articulate corporate messaging through presentations, demonstrations and open discussions with customers
  • Be comfortable presenting and communicating with senior technology and business leaders
  • Responsible for providing forecasting and reports for management review
  • Participate in trade shows and other marketing activities
  • Remain current with industry knowledge & trends
  • Maintain a high proficiency with Genesys Cloud solutions
