Please note: Star Telecom Long Distance Service uses data bursts to initiate calls. Although the amount of data transmitted is minimal (less than 0.5 KB), your charges will vary based on your wireless data plan. We strongly suggest having at least a basic data plan, however even without a data plan the cost of data transmitted should be less than the cost of a one minute call. This is a long distance service, local calls in any country including Canada, will be charged at the advertised long distance rate (5¢/min in Canada).
