Star Telecom’s SIP call recording service is a cloud based service. As a an add-on to the dialer friendly Outbound SIP Service, the Inbound DID Service or the Toll Free Service, it is possible to record inbound and outbound SIP calls placed using our SIP platform.
Security:
All calls are encrypted using PCI-compliant encryption ciphers or using your public key to encrypt each call individually, immediately after it is recorded. Multiple layers of physical and network security, and the fact that calls are not written to magnetic media prior to encryption, ensure that only you will have access to the content of call recordings. Recordings are transmitted or made available for you to access, in near real time. After transmission, the encrypted files are promptly removed from the temporary in-memory storage. This methodology guarantees that in an unlikely scenario of a physical or logical security breach, your recordings and your client's confidential information is secure beyond doubt.
Information Included with Call Recordings:
The following information can be included in the file name of each recording:
• Caller ID
• Caller Name
• Called Number
• Call Date and Time
In addition to above call information, Star Telecom`s call recording service connects to your CTI-enabled PBX such as Cisco, Avaya or Nortel, to collect or submit additional information like Client, Campaign, Queue, Agent ID or unique ID assigned to the recording.
Format:
Recordings are provided in the highly efficient and compatible GSM-Wav format. Each minute of recording takes up roughly around 100 Kilobytes of storage.
