It is possible to combine several routing algorithms such as Fixed Percentage Allocation Call Routing or CTI Integrated Inbound Call Routing together with failover logic, into a very powerful design with built-in Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) capabilities. Beyond the initial treatment of Inbound SIP Toll Free or Inbound DID calls, it is possible to program a secondary treatment on failover. Failover can be defined as no-answer condition, busy signal or time out of a SIP INVITE request. Once developed, the route will automatically failover, in real time, to the secondary route. It is not necessary to manually trigger or activate the failover.This guarantees that no calls are lost due to site failure.
